Michael joined Ci Fund Services (formerly Alpina Fund Management) in 2022 as CEO and Board Member, bringing over 30 years of executive experience in the financial services sector. Throughout his career, he has held prominent leadership roles, including CEO, Managing Director, and Chairman at several respected fund management firms. At CI Fund Services, Michael is instrumental in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, overseeing portfolio management, driving business development initiatives, and advancing the company’s IT infrastructure. His extensive industry knowledge and leadership are pivotal to delivering innovative and client-focused solutions in today’s evolving market landscape.

Toufic joined Ci Fund Services in March 2025 as a Member of the Executive Committee and Conducting Officer for Risk Management and Compliance. He brings over 20 years of experience in the fund industry, gained in Canada and Luxembourg, with a focus on Risk Management and Compliance for major investment houses. In Luxembourg, Toufic specialized in Compliance and Risk Management for UCITS and AIFs, strengthening Management and Governance at leading financial institutions. Toufic is an active member of ALFI, ALCO, ILA, and ALRiM. Before joining Ci Fund Services, he held senior roles overseeing over $50 billion in assets, demonstrating expertise in managing funds. He holds an MBA in Investment Management from Concordia University (Canada) and the FRM and SCR designations from GARP.

Heiko joined Ci Fund Services (formerly Alpina Fund Management) in 2022 as Risk Manager, bringing with him extensive expertise from over a decade in Luxembourg’s fund management industry. Previously, he served as Head of Risk Management at another Management Company, where he began his Luxembourg career in 2009 after gaining significant experience in the Asset Management and financial software sectors in Germany. Heiko holds a degree in Business Administration and is a certified CIIA/CEFA professional. Recently, he completed his PhD with a focus on Sustainability and Risk Management in the Fund Industry, further reinforcing his commitment to integrating sustainability principles into risk management practices.

Denis joined Ci Fund Services (formerly Alpina Fund Management) as a Fund Specialist, where he plays a key role in optimizing internal operations and driving the company’s transition toward full digitalization. His expertise in process management and transformation is instrumental in streamlining the company’s workflow and enhancing its efficiency. Prior to joining Ci Fund Services, Denis accumulated five years of experience in management and regulatory consulting, where he successfully advised key players in the Luxembourg financial market on various strategic projects. He then expanded his expertise as a project manager focused on regulatory changes and outsourcing management. Denis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and recently earned a master’s degree in Information Management, equipping him with a unique blend of regulatory and digital knowledge that strengthens the company’s future-forward initiatives.
